Callaway 200 Bicentennial Bash with Shenandoah - Postponed until 2021

Callaway County’s free bicentennial celebration will be held near the Callaway County Courthouse in Fulton’s downtown Brick District. Begin your day with a trip to the farmers market, or challenge yourself in the Callaway 10K sponsored by the YMCA of Callaway County. The Kingdom of Callaway Historical Society will host a fiber art trail, walking tours, commemorative quilt and more. The “Made in Callaway Market” will feature artisan and maker demonstrations, kids art projects and activities for all ages. America’s National Churchill Museum will offer free admission that day. Listen to bluegrass on the bricks at intervals throughout the day. Catch an afternoon matinee of the 1942 Ronald Reagan movie, Kings Row, which is believed to be based on author Henry Bellamann's upbringing in Fulton. The movie will be shown in the 1920’s theatre that now serves as the Brick District Playhouse. That evening, enjoy a FREE concert by Grammy-winning country band, Shenandoah. Wine tasting, beer garden and food trucks will be available that afternoon and evening.

On August 30, join local churches for a Sweet, Soulful Sunday with praise, fellowship, carry-in desserts and honey ice cream, 2 - 4 pm at 54 Country. For up to date announcements, follow us on Facebook @callaway200. For more information, email callawaycounty200@gmail.com, or call 573-642-7692.
